price drop to $700. This is the absolute best way to lower these vehicles, the link packages are are cheap and easy, but may cause issues down the road and they do not have the same drive quality, the module allows the car to operate and ride like the OE function.

I was about to ask opinions about lowering, but you just answered my question... This will be the way I go in the spring. Just have to find a place here in Atlanta to buy and install it....

As the airmatic suspension became more common, the difficulty and cost to lower them was complicated. Back in the day Brabus and Carlsson were probably the only tuners that offered modules, the functionality was the best, but the cost was 3-4 times the price of doing links. Some cars worked okay with links, and others did not.
I believe Kleeman at one time also had a lowering module too.
The price for this module now is competitive to the cost for the lowering links. Installation is not complicated, I have the PDF of the detailed instructions for the install from Brabus, any capable MB Technician should have no trouble installing the unit.
I worked directly for Brabus for many years, this unit was in a leased vehicle from Fletcher Jones and was done at the Brabus USA headquarters, installation and removal was done at Brabus by the head tech.
