New Member..HELP ML63 Problem Out the WaZoo!!!
Hello, I purchased a 2009 ML63 with 45k miles about a month 1/2 ago that Ive only driven 3 or 4 times. Do to a very annoying whizzing like sound coming from the engine once it heats up. It was wrongly diagnosed as a few bad pulleys and belt. Next WRONG diagnosis was Harmonic balancer which took over a month to get from MB Germany because there was none in the states so they actually had to make me on.. So here I am now with All new pulleys and belts and a new Harmonic balancer and the Damn car still is making the Sound and the Mechanics are Stumped.... Help Please!!!

sounds are hard to diag over the internet? As previously mentioned the trans can make that type of sound. Does it make it in park also? if you rev it does the sound increase with rpm's?
Really it shouldnt be hard to find with a stethoscope
