GEAR WORRIES
I drive a 2002 automatic C Class ......have been driving it since 2011....bought it at the dealers' fairly used. Problem now is.....it jerks so so seriously (as if the two back tyres wants to dig the ground) when I put it on reverse. It doesn't behave like this when I first start it in the morning.....then say about 30-40 minutes later when I engage reverse, it engages with a thump sound and about two hours later....it jerks seriously and scarily when on reverse.
Also the car has been finding it difficult shifting from 2 to 3 but now, it doesn't shift to 3! Had to leave the car at home now.
Have changed engine mountings, callipers.
What should i do? Please help......
