Fits my vehicle?
The fuel pump of my car died. A known of mine that works in the replacements section of Mercedes sold me a new fuel pump, but I'm afraid that it's not entirely compatible.
My car is a CLK 500 of June 2002. Model number 209.375, engine number 113.968.
My old (died) fuel pump has the reference A209 470 01 94. It's the same reference that my pirated EPC gives me when I insert the chassis number of my car.
Seeing EPC, only entering the 209.375 (not chassis number) it says that A209 470 01 94 is until 2005, and that from 2005 the reference is A209 470 02 94.
The problem is that my friend gave me A209 470 02 94, that is supposedly for +2005 cars. My car is from June 2002.
Searching in Google, some sites say that it fits my car, and other sites don't list my car in the list of compatible cars.
Please, could someone confirm if the A209 470 02 94 fuel pump that I bought is compatible with my car? I don't want to mount it, get engine rattles and not being able to return it because I used it.
Like a said above, it's a CLK 500 of June 2002. Model number 209.375, engine number 113.968.
Thank you very much and kind regards.
