windshield washer pump not working

Hi everyone, I’m new to the forums and I need help with my car. I have a 2006 c230 sport.
I’m having issues with my windshield washer. I replaced the pumpand it still doesn’t work. I press down on the combination switchbut I don’t hear the motor and the wipers don’t move either. Any suggestions on what it could be? Thanks !

Hi. Windshield washer pump is controlled by Front Sam. Problem can be in Front Sam, Wiper control stalk, wiring or pump. Since you replaced the pump, problem relies somewhere else...Correct test sequence would be ---> connect MB Star, check if wiper stalk position changes ON / OFF . Wiper good. Check if Front SAM provides supply voltage +12V to pump. SAM good. Check two wires on the pump plug - brown is ground, violet/yellow is +12V from SAM. If everythins is OK to this point you have another bad pump motor. Good luck
