Mercedes SL500 R129 1996 Convertible
G-day from Sydney Australia,
I have a problem with my fuel gauge reading empty when it has plenty of fuel in the tank,the lights on the fuel gauge stay on while driving but the indicator needle sits on the empty mark,
all the fuses under the hood and in the boot have been correctly checked and all are ok, it seems that no power is getting to the fuel sender unit which is about 5 months old and was
replaced with a brand new genuine part then and the dashboard gauge was working up to about 3 weeks ago,
The black lead wire to the fuel sender was checked and has no power to it so appreciate this is most likely the problem why I am not getting a correct reading on the fuel gauge,
Please I need some help to resolve this issue, trust some good guy can give me a solution to how does one fix this problem ?
