M278/R231 P0303 Code- Cylinder 3 misfire detected

The vehicle is a 2013 SL550 with @38,000 miles on it. I was pulling into the garage after about a 40 mile trip on the freeway and at low idle the check engine light illuminated and it started running rough. I turned off and the next day I pulled codes and have a "P0303 Code- Cylinder 3 misfire detected" I have the Foxwell with MB Software) . I stored the code, cleared it and then took the car around the block. As I was at idle pulling it into my driveway, the same thing happened, check engine light + rough idle. So I turned it off and of course it will go to my Mercedes guy sometime next week when I can get it in there. I'm sure he'll figure out what's causing it and of course I am on pins and needles to find out since it's no longer under warranty.

I just wanted to know if anyone else experienced this, and if so, what turned out to be the cause?

Hello there,

I'm having the same issue. I've already got the spark plugs in all cylinder, and the coil and injector replaced in cylinder 3 but the issue is still there.
I wonder if your issue got fixed and what was it?
