Hi I have an issue with my 1994 SL500, after a recent battery replacement the windows will only go down if I disconnect the battery earth for half an hour ,then I can lower one window but it will only go back up after a further disconnect nor will the other window move without once again dis connecting the earth lead , Simmilarly with the soft top when the switch is activated both windows go down and roof lowers but will not go back up without pulling off the earth for half an hour or so, can anyone help as this is not behaving the same as most people are experiencing.
