Nice! What kind of wood did you use? I plan to do something similar on my Les Paul - but that one is a light blonde guitar, so I guess I will go with a light blonde wood type. Any suggestions?

i would go with Koa or flame maple. Here is a pick of the flame maple I have on my Heritage
