450SLC - Grinding noise as soon as I do a cold start

Question 450SLC - Grinding noise as soon as I do a cold start
Hi,

I have a Mercedes 1979 450SLC. The car is in real good shape. It has only 95k miles. However, since last two months or so, I am getting a metal grinding noise as soon as I do a cold start. It lasts for about 2 minutes until the car heats up and after that everything is normal. Does anybody have any clue is to what this sound be?
