How to detach ignition switch from lower dashboard
Need help with 2002 C320 sedan:-How to remove the bottom section dashboard to gain access to the steering column to replace broken plastic coupler collar. Steering column not moving up and down but working fine moving in and out. Have already removed the center console, radio, instrument cluster, light swtich, emergency brake cable, fuse holder on driver side. Also removed screws holding the lower dashboard to upper dash and loosen the bolts holding the steering column. Whatever screws holding the lower dash on the left of steering column are removed but unable to get access to the ignition switch on the right side of the steering column. Don't seem to find any screws or bolts holding the right bottom dashboard to the upper dashboard and the only thing seems to be holding back is the ignition switch assembly. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
