Paper oil filters
My warranty book says that using paper oil filters or cheap oil filters will invalidate the warranty. Parts stores don't seem to know if a filter is paper or "cheap". One parts store told me to use Hengst filters although they are more expensive than those that the dealer sells. Does anyone know the cheapest filter out there that is still acceptable to MB?

buy oil filters at MB dealer & keep receipts which keep MB happy
cost maybe $5.00 per oil change extra.
