2014 E550c Resonator Delete

After reading all the informative threads regarding resonator delete, D&R Motors (Columbus) took the high road VS the local muffler shop solution using steel pipe.

They removed the resonator and replaced by TIG welding S/S pipe in place. A bit more expensive ($500) as TIG welders are artist by their own right.

Looks like factory. Sounds purr-fect! Roars when on it, quiet when not. No cabin noise issues. No expensive after market exhaust system required to elevate this E550c to sing like a muscle car.

Now, more often than not, sound system is off and the windows are rolled down. Its a challenge for my better half to keep her foot out of it! Rear tires are now the new conundrum.
