Pre-purchase Inpection in DFW
I am planning on purchasing a used E55 in the DFW area. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection?
Dealership says they only do "multi-point" inspection. Are they the same thing? (park place MB)

E55
Ewing MB did an inspection for free on a E55 I purchased last week. Make sure you get an extended warranty, as long as the car passes inspection you can pick up the warranty and no need to worry. Chrysler has extended warranties for MB's @ a great value.

Thanks for the info. I ended going to Autoscope for PPI. It costs about $100 and seemed like a real thorough job. I purchased a 2yr extended warranty as well through prizm.

'03 SLK320, '04 BMW 330i, '11 BMW 535i, '13 Land Rover LR4
I am looking at an old SLK in Arlington. I'll need to get a good quality PPI done, as I am buying the car from Virginia with some assistance from my cousin who lives in Burleson. Any recommendations for a good place to take the car, preferably in/near Arlington, or on the FW side of town?
