independent shop in southern NJ
at some point this year i'll have to do the four year trans service even though i'll likely have less than 5k on the car by the end of the year. i can't find a service manual online like i normally can for all of my vehicles so i am going to bite the bullet and just have someone handle it for me.
my friend uses Ditmire in Absecon, NJ but i'm looking for alternatives. i in Cape May County about 30 mins SOUTH of AC so i'd be willing to drive up the parkway a bit or out west toward Phila but the closer the better.
i'm sure the service isn't rocket science but i want someone good.
any recommendations?

couple months, but the co owner actually left race proven motor sports to open this shop up and the other has a nice little turbo s running in the tens. they know what they are doing and willign to cut some deals to get the name out. customer service is great, i message him all the time with questions

that's sorta what happened when i checked out Ditmire. the place is just SO old school...super dirty...cars on the lift were like an inch from the ceiling. there was stuff EVERYWHERE and no room. i'm sure they are great people and they have been in business for decades but i can't picture taking this car there. if i had a 90s SL with 100k...yes.

I understand , I hate taking my car to any shop . When i did take it there we did a walk around of the car b4 i gave him the keys . They have worked on my W210 E55 twice, water pump , and valve cover gasket , car was always just as clean as i left it , not extra mileage , no greasy finger prints . If i cant do it myself or i have no time, that's where i ve gone. So far so good. GL , let me know what you find.
