Independent Service Shop for GLS in Queens
Hey All,
I'm in the queens area and am up for a B1 service. Mercedes is quoting me 750 + tax for this service which seems way too high. Since I'm leasing this vehicle, 2018 GLS 450, I dont mind going to an indie to do the work. as a matter of fact, I had good luck doing my first service last year with M-Spec Auto performance in middle village. I wanted to go to them again, but they were being a pain in the fact that they would NOT provide a quote over the phone and kept saying that I needed to bring it is. Not sure if thats valid, but I asked them for a high quote and they wouldnt do it. Because they were being so adamant about that, I decided to look elsewhere. I told them it was a far drive for me, and I didnt want to waste all of our time if the numbers didnt make sense, but they kept saying I have to bring it in, because all B1 services are different. So here we are.... any recommendations in the Rego Park, Forest Hills area in queens would be great. thanks.
