Vito 113 petrol ECU 1997
I have recently purchased the vehicle which is idleing poorly and drinking the fuel.
A Mercedes dealership has told me I need a new ECU before they can test to see if it requires any other parts.
Due to the high cost of the part is it possible to have the existing one repaired.
The siemens ecu unit PM6006 Merc Pt No 021-545-38-32 does not appear to be a unit that can be repaired.
I wish to enquire if anyone knows a repairer also if it is coded in some way that even If I purchase a new unit it would not work. Mercedes parts people do not seem to know.
