Sprinter engine 308CDI to 313CDI upgrade

Hi,could someone with good experience explain is it possible to swap complete 308CDI engine (not good for reconditioning ) code 611987 with 313CDI one, code 611981 and what are the eventual difficulties?What is the difference with the turbo,injectors,ignition ,wire harness and computer?Thank you in advance.

Injectors are the same, harness is similar. The turbo's are completely different, you'll need the ECU from the 313CDI.

If you can get a front cut then that'll help alot.
you'll need the engine complete with turbo, ECU and the turbo regulating valve (mounted on body). the valve may not be different, but i'm pretty sure it is.

The difference in the engines is in the tuning and turbo. The block, heads, injectors are the same

I think the 313 has an intercooler and the 308 doesñ´t.
