The V-class is already sold in the US at Freightliner dealerships as the "Sprinter". It's going to be rebadged as a Dodge in the near future and sold at Dodge dealerships nationwide, except in California and Maine. This is because it's only available with a diesel engine and consequently can't meet the emissions requirements of those 2 states.

No, the V-class is not available in the USA.

The Mercedes Sprinter is available as a Freightliner Sprinter or a Dodge Sprinter. See: www.dodge.com under 'trucks' or www.daimlerchryslervans.com for the Freightliner version.

Most are being used right now as UPS or FedEx deliveries. The Sprinter is RWD, and a size up from the FWD Vito/V-Class.

There is TALK of bringing the NEXT generation V-class to the USA, again, probably as a Dodge.

you can get the car into califonia and mian, just has to have 7500miles to no longer be "new"

aka, buy it, register it out of state, drive it there

OR

get someone to turn up the mileage, get it registered, and then turn it back down.
