Viano W639 radio change
Hi,
My original radio (MF2750) in my 2008 Viano ate my cd and wouldn't give it back. I found a replacement on Ebay which is an MF2830 and discovered that it also has bluetooth, excellent I thought. I have two problems, the aerial wll not go on the back of the radio as the lug which holds it on is in a different place, how do I deal wth that, can I buy an adaptor? I need to aquire a microphone for the 'phone side as I can hear the caller but they cannot hear me, advice please and not silly money and where does it plug into, there are two other little round connection points but don't know what they are for.
Many thanks,
Liz

On the MF2830 the single connector is actually for the bluetooth antenna, the radio antenna plugs into the twin connectors - 1 is for the AM and the other for the FM band. You can disassemble the plastic from your car antenna connector and leave the metal plug only, then put it in one of the 2 twin connectors, just test which one gives you nice radio signal. I cant help you with the microphone tho, i'm looking for a pin schema myself... ;/
