V class consumption problem after new injectors installed

Hello everyone, I’m reaching out for help regarding my V-Class W447 OM651 140kW, year 2015. About a year ago, I started experiencing a problem with cold starts — the engine would shake noticeably for the first 1–2 minutes, and then it would run normally. Diagnostics showed that injector no. 2 was faulty and the others had worn-out internals. All four injectors were replaced with new ones. Since the OEM part number injectors were unavailable in Serbia at the time, the workshop installed Bosch exchange injectors, part number 0986435286. After installation and proper coding, the initial issues — shaking and smoke — were resolved. However, a new issue appeared:The fuel consumption drastically increased. The vehicle now consistently consumes no less than 10L/100km, and sometimes up to 18L/100km in city driving. No fault codes are present. Injectors were recoded several times and confirmed to be correctly programmed. EGR, MAF, MAP, and temperature sensors are all tested and working properly. The only parameters out of range are the injection quantity per stroke, which stays consistently above 12 mg/stroke (usually between 12–16, and sometimes even over 20 mg/stroke), even after the engine reaches operating temperature. From what I understand, the normal range is around 3–12 mg/stroke. So my question is: Could the Bosch exchange injectors be of lower precision or different tolerances, leading to increased fuel consumption? Or could there be another root cause? I want to emphasize that with the original injectors, fuel consumption was perfectly within factory specs: 6–9L/100km on open road (depending on driving style) 8–10L/100km combined 9–12L/100km in urban conditions Has anyone else experienced a similar issue with Bosch exchange injectors or under similar circumstances? Thanks in advance for your insights! Best regards,Marko
