I installed a set of these on my W210 E55 headlight lenses which I had just replaced.
Pros:
-virtually invisible to the eye once the adhesive dries.
-additional protection to the lens from rocks.
Cons:
-much patience required when installing. Take your time and do it in the hot sun. Once in place, don't walk away and leave it; check every five minutes or so for the first hour to ensure no edges lift.
Unknown:
-will these really protect the lenses from UV-degradation and, if the covers fade from UV-degradation, can I remove them from the lenses and install a new set of covers?
Worth the effort but it is an effort. I have a set for my W211 E55 but I'm waiting to install after re-finishing the lenses or replacing the lenses. I laid the covers on the car in the hot sun to soften them but the evaporative effects of the alcohol/water solution tended to cool the covers down enough so as to stiffen them. Again, much patience required. Bubbles and haze will be present at completion but will disappear after one to two weeks as the trapped alcohol/water evaporates.
I would purchase and install again.

In the next to last paragraph above I was referring to the W210...not the W211.
