M177/M178 TCU/CPC TUNING FROM SOLO MOTORSPORTS

Hey all, I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about what we have been working on for the M177/M178 and other newer AMG vehicles.

The newest product that we offer for the M177/M178 is a modified CPC module and TCU tuning. We have been working on this for roughly the last year on our in house dyno and shop W213 E63s. Our goal was to work with this platform to get something out in the U.S. that would allow our customers to achieve those high horse power numbers and low track times when going stage I and beyond.

We found that when we tuned the vehicle with a stage one file that it would make more power but it felt like the transmission could not keep up with the increased power and had sluggish shifts. We found this to be even more drastic on stage II cars and we knew that there was more time to be had if we could get the vehicle to shift smoothly and hold power to redline.

The CPC is the module that limits the cars torque and horsepower when pushing over factory limits. We have found that not only does it limit the amount of torque that the transmission can put out but it also physically slows the transmission down when changing gears quickly at higher then stock power levels. Reprogramming/replacing the factory CPC not only allows the vehicle to make more torque all the way to redline but also allows the transmission to shift a lot smoother and quicker. Pair this with our TCU tune that gives you manually adjustable launch control, faster up shifts and more responsive down shifts.. and you have 0-60 times dropping by .30 seconds with just a stage 1 ECU tune.

E63s with Pure 1000s on low boost, 93 octane, NO CPC

E63S with Pure 1000s on low boost, 93 octane fuel W/ CPC and TCU

We are always developing and testing so I will update the thread with more times and videos as we continue to make progress.

We offer at home tuning as well for TCU/CPC, there is a $1500 deposit required for the computer that we send you to do the flashing. The deposit will be immediately returned once we receive the computer back.

Please PM or email me for pricing, shipping for the laptops will be different for everyone depending on where we are shipping.

If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to shoot me an email or PM here.

2019 c63s sedan
Good afternoon.
as an owner of a 2019 c63s with the most current ECU update from MB, it was my understanding that my car as well as the 2020s were not able to be flashed over the OBD port. However, I have spoken with another very prevalent tuner who has explained that they are in fact able to do so. At his point, has solo also discovered how to reflash via the OBD port for vehicles with the current / latest software from Mercedes?
Thank you for your time and contribution to this platform.
