MBWorld Fanatic!
I know he/his company is no longer a supporting vendor, but with the approval of the webmaster- I wanted to post about his service. I believe this thread will be locked shortly.
I recently did business with him. He answered a ton of questions for me, quickly, over a month's time when I was trying to decide what wheels I wanted. Recently I went to a Benz gathering when I went out of town on business. I met a guy with a set of black wheels I loved- but I thought they would look good in silver. I contacted Charles (Wheel Autohaus, aka wheelsauto) about them. Although it wasn't a brand he carried- he still made some calls and ordered them in for me. Granted- he was $100 more than I found elsewhere (most likely since he didn't do business with this company often)- I had some loyalty, for lack of a better word, to him since he took care of all my question answering. I figured I would give him a chance before ordering them from someone else. He helped a lot- and it was on a $2k'ish sale- not some high dollar HRE/Nitto setup.
I wanted to put up a little post giving him props for all his help- but I
didn't know where to do it, or if it would even be welcomed since he/they are no longer vendors. I just appriciate that sort of help these days. There were a couple places that were busy when I called to get prices and said they would call me back- but I never heard from them again (one of which was a supporting vendor). As you can see customer service is the name of the game- as far as I am concerened. Although price is a factor- many times customer service is key. Hence this sale- I could have saved $100- but I appriciated Charles' help/service.
Not that it matters- but this is not the wheelset I was interested in or purchased.
