LET long tube Group buy
#27
I'm in the market for a set of headers although I want a subtle sounding exhaust. I'm looking into a set of mid-length from kleeman right now...do you feel like there would be a huge increase in performance and sound if I were to run this set of LT?
Thanks for your input.

E55, Supercharged Z4 (sold)
To make it fit you will need an exhaust shop to fab up a mid pipe going from the headers to the existing exhaust. Any decent shop can do that. I am going to use an x-pipe like this and maybe some race cats. Exotic Metal just did something similar so props to him.

Do a search but I don't think the sound gets crazy loud. Just a nice rumble when you're on it and quiet when you're just cruising which is perfect to me. Below are 2 recent examples. Keep in mind they got rid of both the primary cats and resonators so if you left that intact the sound would come down.

You could keep you resonators for less sound and probably no change in power.

5 people the price would be 1799.99
10 people 1650.00
That is what the original post said but I have not heard anything from eurocharged directly so don't hold me or them to that.
This is my opinion only but I have not seen hard factual evidence that leads me to believe that one set of Long Tubes is so much better then another. Floored Fab who I'm sure does great work, is on some of the fastest E55's but then again the first 10 second E55 had Eurocharged so who is to say. Way to many variables involved. To me it's just who has a good price and a group buy is all about getting a good price to the customer and more business for the vendor. Win Win
Another thing you guys might consider is that the long tubes help more in reducing heat from the supercharger so not only do you make more power but you do it more consistenly to. You don't stress the engine more at all, you could argue that you stress it less via less heat.
