So I just picked up a pretty sweet little w115 for $1500 and I have a slight problem. It's a manual with 4 on the column and the shifter just feels really sloppy. It doesn't really matter what gear it's in, you can move the shifter in pretty large circles while staying in that gear and if you should be so lucky as to find reverse, it takes a pretty long time to find neutral again. Under the hood, all the linkages look fine and they are well lubricated. If I can get this corrected, I'm going to have a pretty sweet little cruiser on my hands. Can anyone help me?
