Hey guys currently I just own a 1975 Mercedes 300D
Are 70's Diesals worth restoring?

So I've got a 1975 Mercedes 300D in my garage about a year ago the head gasket and I want to fix it up but i'm wondering if $3000 is enough to put in it for the daily drive .it also needs new locks and the radio of course doesn't work. This is my first diesal and it frame is beautiful i don't want to get rid of it but i don't want to put $3k to $5k and not have a reliable car by the end.

P.S. if any one knows a good restoration shop id be eternally grateful.

All of your issues are all very personal and typically decisions on them are not rational!!

We don't know where you live---why not visit the yellow pages and or a excellent crash shop in your location
