1972 350 SL (107) Motor stops when put in gear
I would be very grateful if anyone could give any pointers to what could be wrong with my beloved Mercedes as I am turning grey.
Symptoms:
- the cars starts and runs fine (idle)
- once put in gear the engine stops
- sometimes if I try and press down the throttle will the engine is ideling it also stops
I have checked hoses, electrical wires and what not but can't find the error.
