Hi guys,

My 1993 300 sl (with the 104 engine) will crank but won't start. When I prime the engine it runs until the prime is consumed. However, while it runs, the tachometer does not register. Thinking it's a fuel problem, I installed new pumps and filter. Same problem so I jumped the terminals in the socket for the MAS and the pumps do run. The MAS gets 12V. Is the MAS malfunctioning or can a problem in the EZL interfere with fuel supply? Is there a good diagnosis procedure on the web?
