New Owner Issues
All: 2 questions: what is the best price one can get for the extended warranty? Has anyone installed the lighted doorsills w/the AMG logo? Thanks-Joker

XRAYMD: shes FINALLY here today and getting her prep.Ill post pix when I have all the installs done: 1. HID foglite conversion, hopefully no error code on dash, fingers crossed. 2. Lighted door sills with AMG logo 3. Lidatek LE-30. Will keep everyone in the loop-Joker

I purchased my 2000 E55 this past January. The cost of the extended warranty was $3,995.00,which made a total of three additional years, instead of the one given by the dealer. I just had the dashboard replaced for free ($2,000.00) so the warranty has almost paid for itself already.
