Help needed with tire rub on E55

I have just replaced 235X40 and 265X35 Euro fitment with 245X40 and 275X35 US fitment. Suspension is H&R springs with stock AMG Bilstein shocks and No. 1 spring pads all round.
Front tyres are now rubbing over speed humps and sharp bumps, but not whilst turning. Is this normal for my setup? Help please......

The proper setup if you're running 19's are 245/35/19 frony and 275/30/19 rear.

The stock US fitment on the E55 is 18x8 and 18x9 with 245x40 and 275x35 tires and there is no rubbing of course. When I lowered my car there still was no rubbing with #1 pads all the way around. I now have 245x35 and 275x30x19's (8.5 and 9.5) and an H&R drop with Bilsteins and still no rubbing. That seems odd that you would get that?? My fenders are almost over the tires too. Here is a shot of my front tire and well- are yours this close??

Great looking setup!

Mine is not that close, it is stock suspension, what is the tire rubing against?

I think the tyres might be bottoming out on the inside of the guards, drove in early to work today, where there is a right left downhill sweeper signposted at 45Kmh - 28mph, took at approx 75, on the exit there is an undulation that caused the car to rub the front tyre whilst hard under power. Vic55 it is no lower than yours

Nice 55- like that color. Since you are in Australia maybe your E55's do not get the factor fender rolling. Are your fenders flush (rolled) or do the stick out on the inside??

Fenders are rolled flush, back and front.

P-Zero (yellow)

Stephens:

Just another possibility. It might be caused by the shoulder profile of the P-Zeros (yellow). I had those tires on my other car. Noticed that the shoulder profile on the yellow tend to be squarish compared to the more rounded S-03, S02 or the Pilot Sports. This might also cause the fender rubbing.

i'm thinking the same thing, but looking at Evosports website, this is the same config that they use on their E55, koni shocks excepted. I would be interested to know if he has had any similar problems. I do not have any rub problems whilst turning.
