hey folks

i was just wondering how do i go about installing exhaust system on my 1998 e55..and what about headers?? is it fit on this vehicle??!! do i got more hp??
i just wnna know about hp incease and gain when i install the exhaust.

but i don`t know whos better in making things like this for MB??
KleeMann or BRABUS??!!

and does anyone have any info. about other performance upgrades like: performance chips, Air intake??

1998 E55? Where are you located?

I don't think there will be any HP gain from an exhaust when coming from an AMG exhaust, but you will get a really cool sound. The headers are about $3600 installed and may give you 8whp (not worth it). The only things you can do are Powerchip, Greenfilters, pullies or a supercharger $$$$

ive seen your reply in benzWorld abot replacing the amg muffler with MagnaFlow muffler..i took the part #
and i entered the MagnaFlow wep site and i cannot found any thing for MBZ!!
how can i make an order for it??
also i would ask u about the sound that u got from that replacement..is it cool and loud enough??
and what about remove the resenator??

I removed the res also and reused my AMG tips. The muffler is 17" long two inlet two out let. Magnaflow won't list it for MB is was kind of custom job. On Benzworld there is a guy that did the same thing I did and loves it. He would know the part #, just do a search. It was a couple months ago. I love the way the car sounds it sounds very deep but smooth. Best mod yet.
