Question Help please

I recently bought a 2000 E55. The suggested cold tire pressure on the factory label is 41psi front and 48psi rear. The current tires are Michelin Pilot Sports PS2: 245/40/18 front; 275/35/18 rear. However, on the sidewall the inscription indicates: do not exceed 40psi. Those of you running PS2's; can you recommend the correct tire pressure? I am confused. Any input would greatly appreciated.

The label inside my gas door say 41/48psi if your fully loaded with five passengers at speeds over 130mph. If your <4 people and speeds <130 it says 32/33psi. Do you have this label? If you need me to I can go out and take a pic.
