W210 jerk problem?
I was on the C32 forum and they were talking about the "jerk at 1500 rpm" problem. I thought to myself that happens on my E55 as well. Especially when in lower gears (after manual downshifts), if you dont go WOT, it jerks sometimes, and rather disconcertingly.
Normal?

Is it from 1st to 2nd only or during gear change or simply a jerk w/o any gear change?
If a jerk w/o any gear change, I don't think it's normal... mine doesn't do that for sure.
What I experience is not a jerk... but a brief pause between gears.... quite noticeable especially when the engine is still cold. There is also a pause from 2nd to 3rd, but not as much as 1st to 2nd.
Went to dealer couple times and always got a typical answer: "It's normal".
Cannot remember what it's like when it was new... anyone can comment?
