MB recommended service intervals on spark plugs, ATF?
I read up on the FSS A & B systems but they do not mention spark plugs, coolant, ATF, differential, etc. What are the official MB recommended intervals for the following?
Spark plugs (100,000 miles?)
ATF
Rear differential fluid
Coolant
Spark plugs (100,000 miles?)
ATF
Rear differential fluid
Coolant

Plugs 60,000 miles
ATF, filter & fluid 40,000-50,000 miles (MB synthetic ATF)
Rear Diff fluid 40,000-50,000 miles (Mobil 1 synthetic)
Coolant every 24,000 miles (reg.) or (5/50,000 version) 48,000 miles depending on diving style.
Air Filter 35,000 miles (K&N clean/oil 7500 miles depending on area and diving style)
These cars cost a lot to keep up. Why take the chance or replacing parts if you follow the dealer requirements? ((Remember MB makes money from servicing and selling you parts.))

you guys are right, per book is lifetime, but if you ask any tech or service advisor that knows you for awhile he'll tell you on the hush hush "if you want plan to keep the car for awhile aka past warranty...." do it like Dawson said
also if you do the plugs chances are you'll need to do the wires at the same time, some are prone to fail when removed from the spark plug
and don't forget a simple maintenance item that is not really being pushed for changing by the shops, the fuel filter, i'd do it around 60k as well like spark plugs
btw do you guys have the service booklet/manual? i can't seem to find mine and heard they don't make paper versions anymore? could someone scan one or list recommended maintenance from there at what intervals?

the "lifetime" wording is correct b/c if you don't change the tranny fluid it will end the life of the tranny haha. thats how they get around saying that. When tranny breaks, you go back to them to fix they win b/c u gotta pay for new tranny . I am replacing mind with Royal Purple Max ATF, i'll let u know how it goes.

Spark Plugs Are 5 Years Or 100k, Air And Fuel Filters Are 5 Years Or 60k, Trans Fluid Is Never. Coolant Is 3 Years, But, If You Have Blue Synthetic Coolant It Is 15 Years Or 150k- There Is A Time Release Capsule In The Resevoir From The Factory To Keep It "fresh". If You Change The Coolant To The Mb Clear Then It Is 3 Years. Brake Flush Is 2 Every 2 Years. Driving Habits And Condtions May Change Your Intervals. These Are The Factory Rec's. I Do The Trans Every 30k On My 722.6's And Change Everything Else Except Coolant And Brake Fluid Every 3 Years. I Also Change Oil Every 4-5k, It's Cheaper Than A New Engine And I've Seen Some High Humidity Areas With Some Real Sludge Build Up On The 10k Interval. The Factory Specs Are For Cars Built From 2000 Till Current And Don't Include 4cyl. Models Which Are Different Still.have Your Local Dealer Print Out A Service Sheet And It Will Tell You What's Done When, Hope This Helps.
