Is the oil level sensor over zealous?!
Is the oil level sensor a bit over zealous. Car has just had a B service & I keep getting the oil level low warning symbol, yet when I check it the oil level is exactly where it should be on the dipstick.

I had the opposite issue: "REDUCE OIL LEVEL". Using a pump, I syphoned four ounces (1/8th quart) of oil out through the dipstick tube. Issue gone. Perhaps, if you apply four ounces of oil through the dipstick tube, your issue will be remedied. Good luck.
