I bought 2. They work fine.
You will need to supply your license and reg and/or title to verify.
Make sure you request as "additional" vs "replacement" other wise your current set may not authenticate.
Do a search for more info on part numbers.

Do I just tell them I need a addition key for my current year, because my OEM key is all plastic. I want the chrome hosing one. And how much does it cost?

'04 Silverado Z71 - sold all my Benzes and need another!
Shipped to me in CA was about $124 bucks. They don't make the plastic key for replacement any more from what I understand. I just purchased mine to and it's really nice. Someone had posted the part number in here so search and you should find it...

All you need to do is order from here with the above part numbers.

You will get an email requesting proof of ownership. Once approved, they will program the key for you so all you do is put the key in the ignition and go. Your existing keys still work as well as long as you don't go over 8 spares.
No dealer needed.
