typical service

what goes on during a typical service?

my drive belt just broke and the plastic tensioner gave way too. i also replaced the water pump which was a bit noisy.

basically the things i did were the ff:
replace 2 pcs air filter
replace 16 pcs sparkplugs
replace oil filter
replace 8 liters oil (motul 300v 5w40)
replace fuel filter
replace water pump
replace drive belt
replace hydraulic tensioner
replace plastic tensioner

my question is did i miss anything?

i also ordered a service atf dipstick to check my atf but it was still pinkish.

i want to replace that too and since i might become a royal purple dealer here in the philippines i was wondering if you've come across or had feedback regarding their atf in the e55 tranny as well as the gear oil for the lsd.

any feedback is welcome

belt tensioner

any tips on replacing the belt tensioner? i think a bearing had gone bad in mine. it's making a cricket-like chirping sound.

it looks like pulling the fan out will make the job a lot easier. did you do that or just work in behind it?

depends what are u doing with ur car......
over 300km/h you need special trasmissionoil and brakeoil otherwise your car will not change the gears and will go in fading
