I believe your going to need 16 of these:

NGK Part # 2647 {Platinum Plug #PFR5G11}
Twin Spark; {.039 gap}
** Sold in packs of 4; Price reflects cost of each individual item, not the pack **
More Info
$11.09 $0.00 $11.09

They can be found at rockauto.com Pull one to verify.

I would definetly stick to OEM. Our cars have very sensitive electronics and are engineered to work in harmony with OEM parts.

Have an extra set of these plugs for my e55 but don't need them. Not OEM but are the right application. I will ship ground in US for $70.00 for the set of 16. 4 four packs of Bosch platinum+4 4418. PM me if you want them.

Aguita...Jump on these. I just bought new plugs and wires and the right ones are $15 a pop.. x 16. So this is a great price.

here's a question, i've heard some of the wires could be damaged while you're pulling the spark plugs and good idea to change wires as well when changing sparks
is this true on this car or a myth?

The German mechanic up here told me that as well, but I hear that they are good for a while. I had them change only the plugs, and the car ran fine. I later ended up changing them though, and now see that they are delicate. The only problem is that I had a difficult time taking them off the ignition coils (since they were recently removed from the plugs. One was on so tight that when I finally ripped it off it broke. So the inside of the wires need to be greased.

'04 Silverado Z71 - sold all my Benzes and need another!
From doing some research I also read that platinum plugs are not good for our cars. Can anyone recommend what to use as of recent? Also, I've never heard of Magnacor wires, where do I get more info? Thanks...
