Bad Experience with Auto Shipping company

If anyone ever want there car shipped please don't use D.A.S (Dependable Auto Shipper)!! There website is full of crap!! All Lies!! Dependable my ***!!

http://www.dasautoshippers.com/

I am so pissed off at them right now!! I paid them almost a $1000 to ship my E55 from IL to WA via enclosed truck service. They gave me a quote of 14 days or less, After I paid them in full! Everything went from bad to worst! Car didn't leave the lot for 5days, 14 day become 20, then 23, 24, 25...

I'm never getting my car..(sighs)..On top of that it getting ship by train!!! *******!! That wasn't what we agree on. It arrived last last Monday, not this monday at a near by city about 10min away. Still sitting there as of today. They wouldn't let me pick it up from there. Pissing me off..support to get it on Monday.

When I call customer service I have to wait over 20 min each time for a live person to talk to. They can't even do jack about it! This company is giving me the run around. If see more than 2 mile put on the odometer there *** is in trouble!

I just want to get this off my mind and warn those out there about my experience with them...Sigh... hope you guy never experience what I did. sigh....

Very sorry to hear about your incident. Hope you get some sort of compensation for it.

In the future use www.intercitylines.com

I've used them a few times and never had a single problem. These guys are very professional, won't give you the run around and very straight forward.

Sorry to hear that man but my experiece with DAS was really different. I shipped 2 cars out and shipped one car in with them and their prices and ETA's were right on. Of course the last transaction was about 3 years ago so maybe they've changed or their service has just gotten crappy? Good luck man...

bro you should report them to Better Business Bureau (BBB). Next time run a check through BBB they have reports on file for just about anything.

3000 dollar SLK230
I just shipped my E55 with Express Auto Transport, I was very impressed, i will use them again, no doubt. 3 days from chicago to Walla Walla and only 1000 dollars! Car was in an enclosed carrier, even though I didn't specify.

NEXT TIME MAKE SURE YOU GO WITH A COMPANY THAT DOES "DOOR TO DOOR SHIPPING" I almost went with DAS, but a friend recommended Express instead.

Sorry man, that really sucks!

If they won't let you pick it up I'd ask them to at least let you go down and look at the car in person. If they don't allow you to do so then you need to take it a step further and contact the authorities...

That what i was thinking too, they probably screw up my car or someone take it out for the weekend..i was thinking something bad had happen.

But they finally call me about 1pm yesterday to pick it up. when I got there I was expecting a shipping terminal station, but instead the place was a terminal/body shop/wrecking yard/pound yard

I said to my self ..holy crap!!when i got my car I inspect it from top to bottom. seen ok, but the tire was covered in mud

I will never use there service again..
