amg wheels

while looking through the mbz publication "Genuine MB Accessories Wheels", on page 77 under SL-Class 129, noticed that SLs thru 2002 wore amg wheels in:

1. 8x18x31 245/40 F; 9x18x35 275/35 R
2. 8.5x18x25 245/40 F; 9.5x18x23 275/35 R
3. 8.5x18x25 245/40 F; 10x18x25 275/35 R

can this info be extrapolated to 02 e55 amg's in terms of wheel fitment?
constraints appear to be amg brake caliper size, lug nut sizing, largest tire
that will fit rear

have an opportunity to acquire set #3 and wanted to tap into the forum's
expertise, please advise

2000 E55 AMG

Stock W210 E55 is 8.0x18x31 245/40 F; 9.0x18x35 275/35 R. Assuming the rim design clears our larger brakes, the F should sit near perfect given the 6MM (0.24 ") going out and the additional .25 " (+0.5 "/2 = +0.25 ") rim width going in. Same at the R: 10MM (0.39 ") going out and additional 0.50 (+ 1.0 "/2 = +0.50 ") rim width going in. Though, I may opt for a 285/35 at the rear...the perfect fit on a 10" rim. Lug bolts will be a concern due to stock lug bolt design (12mm x 1.5 x 40mm [1.5"]) where the threading begins below the top of the shaft as opposed to the beginning of the shaft.

thanks for the reply, have already run all the published stock wheel data through wheel offset calculators

otis inc provides hybrid lug bolts

was hoping for definitive answer from direct experience
