OK, Comand says...

that I don't have a CD changer. But I do. It won't let me past any screen but that in the CD function. Will play CD's in the front slot. MY 2000 E 55. Anyone else experienced this? I assume I'm in for a dealer visit, right? Thanks for your help. allenman

Dealer time. Looks like a dead CD changer or a fiber loop configuration problem.

I've got a feeling that...

m Comand drive is screwed anyway. Keeps saying that it's accessing the navigation system, like it's constantly re-booting. Where can I find some threads about Comand in general? Thanks for the info...

Now I'm beginning to understand...

because my phone hadnset is missing. I read elsewhere that these items must be programmed to talk to each other. Problem is, I don't think I can get another startac handset from my dealer. Anyone know of one or seen one for sale? Thanks for your help...
