Ouch... I did the same thing with my Bimmer. Good thing our insurance cover those type of misc accidents. Just had to pay the deductible.

I kind wish the same thing happen to my E55. I hit the garage the other day doing a y point turn on my driveway. Left alot of paint transfers and deep scratches on my bumper. I guess i'm still getting use to the size of the car or maybe cause I'm an asain driver and that is expected out of me

It also appears that the radiator support is pushed in about 2inches, have them also replace that, meaning the entire nose will have to be disassembled!

I've already told them that, the "F" tire also hit the oil pan and now it is droping some oil too!
Radiator's hose is rubbing against the compressor pulley and leaking coolant, cooling fan is touching the radiator too.

I hate to say it but your lucky you did not crash your car while on the strip in Wisconsin. I have a friend who crashed his car on a track and the insurance refused to pay for the repairs. I am glad your accident was not worse considering the heavy traffic you described.

I've been to the track several times for years, and I've never had an accident there (knock on wood), I've only seen once, I'm not saying they don't happen but they are rare. I'm glad it wasn't worse either, may be due to the fact that I didn't panic when I saw the thread and I decided not to brake hard, otherwise the 18 wheeler behind me would've probably hit me hard.

Latest update

As shown on some of the pictures the radiator had been rubbed by the cooling fan, well, they ordered a new radiator and it should be at the shop tomorrow, which means no car for the weekend
But it is OK, I don't mind it, except I'll have to go in the Suburban to saturday's meeting at Starbucks.

Car should be ready wednesday at the very latest, I miss my car badly! But it is going to look great.
