Hello all, I have been getting a message on my dash for a light bulb replacement. However everytime I try to find which one it is, I cannot find it. Could the dash message just trying to f... with me. or What am I missing?

Anyone have similar case. I replaced awhile back the front parking bulb and since have had this trounble.

Don't overlook the license plate lamp. That seems to get everyone each time.

check your city light, the bulb below the H7 hight beam and license plate bulbs. few week ago i try to replace the city light with LED. I had to remove the LED and reinstall the regular buld because it gave me a warning in thedash. Same for the License plate. Two different instance but did the same thing.
So i know for fact those two light bulb is controlled by the dash warning light also. suck!

ah the infamous "defective light" msg.. it can drive you nuts.

my bimmers showed exactly which bulb went out. why cant mb do the same?

Mine was the ashtray light!

Hey Thanks!

When I open the ashtray door. I get the message. When I close the ashtray door, everything is O.K. So I am presuming the bulb is burned out.
