W210 Brakes AGAIN ! Sorry

Read most of the posts regarding W210 E55 Brakes, wondering...

If one was to upgrade the fronts, has anyone tried to put the OEM front calipers and rotors on the rear? I am probably going to feel really stupid once
I read the answers, but I guess I deserve it!

can not be done. If you want larger rear brakes you have to buy a Big Brake Kit from Brembo, StopTech, etc.

solution for your brake upgrade

I just got these rotors last week. They use Factory AMG OEM rotor. Front are 2 piece rotor. I got my Black zink plated. $833.09 for front & rear free shipping, free front pads. Life time warranty. Can't go wrong with that.

They look great! I will take pictures when it stop raining in Seattle

Those Black Zinc ones are badass. I'm not too well versed on brake companies and I have never heard of Brake Performance.

Anybody have any info about this company?

Thank you Peter, Interesting rotors, but how come the page says that they dont have performance rotors for the W210 E55? Or is that the site is not working properly?

I ask the same question, but i call them up and talked to a guy name andy, and he looked it up and call me back with the price. He told me they have it in stock but no prices. The front are factory AMG 2 piece rotor. These rotors are the same rotors on your E55 AMG front and rear. They even have the factory part number on them, the front marked ////AMG on the side of the hat, but with the cross drilled (dimpled) and slotted and Zink plated for rust protection.

That what I wanted instead of aftermartket one piece rotor.
Consider the dealship want $327.60 each for the front and $78.12 each for the rear, $833 is not a bad deal. And best of all it life time warranty, not even the dealership can warranty that. Life time warranty on Factory AMG rotors. Can't beat that.

I forgot to mention, FREE SHipping & performance front Pads!!

Sounds great Peter, thank you very much. Now for part 2 ...has anyone attempted to install a upgraded caliper on the stock rotors we have, I know brakes from SLK55 and C32 would fit on our cars, but I am assuming that only with their own rotors, any other calipers fit on our stock E55 rotors?
