E55 owners come in(lil help from the small guy here)
hey guys jus wondering about your ownership experiences. I once had the priviledge to test drive a W210 E55 AMG in Dubai (these cars are VERY RARE in this part of the world making them harder to get)
so I was wondering how does it feel like to own one?? Do you guys think it's worth spending that extra bit of money for gobs of power??
I admit I wasn't much of a W210 fan until I owned one and boy did that change everything and now I have more RESPECT to MB in general than ever.
BTW the car was a 99 E55 AMG Japanese-spec and in mint condition
so I was wondering how does it feel like to own one?? Do you guys think it's worth spending that extra bit of money for gobs of power??

BUY IT! Without a doubt! These cars are the most beautiful pieces of machinery I have seen... it might be an outdated look, WITH A BIG BIG PUNCH! Especially when those new BMW 335i's don't expect the power. Very reliable... worth every penny! They aren't all perfect though, be prepared for engine mount/mass air flow sensor problems, the usual wear-n-tear. Other than that... these cars are BULLETPROOF!

Do not hesitate for a well maintained W210 E55! These things are beasts and I love the heck out of my car. I had a '97 E420 all Carlsson'd out before this and loved the W210 ever since. My E420 had about 140k miles before I sold it and it looked and drove like new. The power is well worth what you would call "a few extra bucks" and is no comparisson to any of the other W210. Go get one and you won't regret it, I promise!

thanks for the encouraging words I'll have to hunt down another one coz I missed out on the first one (sob 
) but this is hoping I find one in the U.A.E or any other LHD market
so how much would you guys think a good 99-02 E55 is worth with decent mileage (not too low tho coz it may be out of my initial budget)
