I was recently told that my E55 was the (2001 e55) 3rd fastest production sedan in the world when it came out. Can anyone tell me whats correct and where I would find these rankings or numbers/times.

this is right, 2002 Kleemann did the worldrecord with 328 km/h another E55 on 2007 another worldrecord always V8 Kompressor but 6.3 ltr with 356 km/h
the serialone was not done very well from AMG, regarding the brakes and other, but don't forget that the E55 210 is fantastic and can make u scare but really scare
