E55 (W210) owners with trailer hitch: How did you get one installed? Would dealer know and/or install one? I am planning on towing a small trailer >> http://www.kendonusa.com/dual_trailer.htm << with my motorcycle for track day.

You're going to tow a trailer with your 55??? Are you sure the tranny can handle it???

tranny can def handle it!!!!!!!!

BUT if like here in uk (euro spec) i aske dthe same and if you look in your handbook it gives towing capacities for all other ones BUT the e55

this is due to mercedes saying NO to installing 1!

and if you do and something goes wrong with anything on the car it would therefore VOID any waranty you may have!!!!!

so i didn't!!!!!!

the tech guy at mercedes basically said.. if you bought a new e55 when it was made you prob had enough money to buy something else to tow with.....
