E-55 - 17" wheels & snow tires - which ones?
If you are running 17" wheels and snow tires on your E-55, could you please provide information about the specific wheel brand, style and specs including offset and the snow tire size and brand? Mercedes recommends the 17" size for winter use and I need to order something soon.

Is this Richard? I answered your post (same topic) in the tire section and also by personal email. You are looking for an E55 owner to post - "Yes, I put 17 inch wheels and snow tires, etc, etc, etc." Perhaps no E55 owner on this board has done that so no one can specifically answer your post. Most E55 drivers don't drive their cars in the snow. I won't, I have a 4x4 truck for that.
What are your real concerns? The slightly larger front brakes. They are not that big for 17 inch wheels not to fit. Your owners manuel states it and the spare in your trunk is 17 inch for 2000+ models.
You want some snow tires? I have a used set of Carlsson wheels and Michelin Winter tires in 17 for sell. They came off my 98 E430. If time permits I will test fit them on my E55 this weekend. If they fit send the check.
