hi guys im hoping somone can help...

i have a 99 e55 AMG... but the drivers seat has stopped working totally.. now im guessing all seats are the same if electric so im hoping someone may have had similar problem and HOPEFULLY fixed it..

the electric seat works -

moving headrest up and down - YES
moving back restraint forward and back - YES
moving seat base front up and down - YES

BUT

moving seat base back (under Bum) up and down - NO
moving seat backwards and fordwards - NO

when trying to do any of these things the motor simply clicks then clicks off 5 seconds or so later... it doesn't try and move nor strugles as if something is stopping it.....

SO ANY IDEA's ?????

ANY HELP WOULD B GREAT..... seat cant be removed easily as stuck in ver firthest forward position.... otherwise i would of had a look.

also just to add..... it just happened over night . 1 morning it worked NEXT IT DIDN'T
